YEP Services, Pricing and Deadlines
Year-End Processing Available Services:
- IRS FIRE E-Filing:
Includes reports and preparation of your firm's
1099-S data for electronic filing through the IRS
FIRE Web site.
Your filing must be transmitted to the IRS by
March 31st.
- Recipient Forms: If requested at sign-up, Standard
Support
can generate your 1099-S seller recipient (Copy B) forms. Recipient
Forms must be postmarked by February 15th.
- Additional 1099s: 1099-NEC
and other 1099 forms can be provided and e-filed if
requested at signup. 1099-NECs must be both postmarked
and e-filed by January 31st.
Basic Fee and Sign-up Deadline:
For most filings, the YEP Basic Fee is $325.00, discounted to
$295.00 if you mail your payment with your
sign-up form. (Filings
with more than 100 records are $425.00, discounted to $395.00.) An
additional discount is available for ultra-small
filings (15 or so records).
The signup mailing deadline is January 15th
following the end of the tax year.
What is included in the Basic Fee?
The Basic Fee covers the total cost in nearly all
cases. Standard will make
every effort to follow up with you throughout the
process; please remember, however, it is your
responsibility under the law to meet the IRS deadlines.
Timely response to calls
and making sure your data is complete and accurate
will keep your costs to a minimum. The
Basic Fee includes:
- Up to two hours of services. Includes correspondence by
e-mail or telephone, connection time, review of
data, assistance with edits, generation
of reports, data corrections,
etc.
- A Master Report and an Error Report generated by
the tax software used to prepare your filing. Reports are delivered in pdf format for your review and approval before
the data is finalized.
- A Final Report, plus preparation and filing of
your data in the electronic format required
by the IRS.
What is not included in the Basic Fee?
- Seller Recipient (Copy B) Forms: You should be generating
these with
your closing packages, but
they can be produced as part of the YEP service if
needed.
The flat-fee for 1099-S recipient forms is $50.00 if
your data is complete, accurate and available for processing by January
31st, or $100.00 if started thereafter.
- 1099-NEC and other 1099 forms (pdf recipient
copy and e-filing) are available for $5.00 per form.
- Revised or corrected 1099-S or NEC recipient forms are $5.00 per form.
- Services rendered beyond the two hours
included in the Basic Fee will be provided at $60.00 per hour in thirty-minute
increments.
- An additional fee of $50.00 will be charged for
any and each Extension of Time filed with the IRS for
your
office.
