to run Standard software.
All installations must be scheduled in advance to
ensure time availability. In addition, important data
files need to be transferred from your old computers --
please call ahead of time!

Compatible Software Information:

- Microsoft Windows: 10/11, with
local admin rights and SC data network drive mapping
- Microsoft Word: 32-bit versions only*
Full install preferred -- not "Click to Run"
- Internet Explorer: version 11 minimum
- Quicken: versions 2013-2023 (the older versions in
this range may not work with Windows 10 or 11)
*MS Word 32-bit version is the correct choice even on 64-bit Windows
computers.
It is
required
for compatibility with third-party add-ins. See this
Microsoft TechNet article. If you order a
computer with MS Office pre-loaded it is likely to
be the wrong version -- check this ahead of time!

- Processor: Minimum Intel Core i3 or AMD equivalent (Pentium, Celeron and AMD equivalent processors
do not provide acceptable performance)
- Networking: Windows Server 2016 and
newer, or peer-to-peer, with persistent wired Ethernet
(not wireless) connection to mapped network drive
- Memory (RAM): Minimum 4 GB, 8 GB
recommended
- Hard Drive Space: Minimum 1 GB for program; 5 GB free space recommended
- Monitor: Minimum 1024x768 screen resolution
- Printer: Letter and legal paper sources required for auto-selection

Laser Printers:
|
Most laser printers are
compatible with our Microsoft Word documents. We
recommend using a printer with dual
letter/legal automatic feed capabilities. Some
lower-priced printers have more than one paper
source, but no way to set them to automatically
pull from the correct source. In general, look for
a setup menu on the printer that can set letter and
legal size paper sources. Please call with any
questions.
