Checkwriting with QuickBooks and Quicken

QuickBooks integration available; now 25% off!:

Our QuickBooks Accounting/Checkwriting module allows you to export checks directly from Standard Conveyancer to QuickBooks. You can even convert your current Quicken data into QuickBooks to get started. Your imported checks from SC are categorized by closing, making three-way reconciliation a breeze.

Through the end of December, get 25% off the Standard Conveyancer QuickBooks Accounting/Checkwriting module.

Please contact us for more information on using QuickBooks with Standard Conveyancer.

Using newer versions of Quicken with SC:

For Quicken users, an update last year means that you can use newer versions of Quicken (up through Quicken 2012) with Standard Conveyancer. We use Quicken Deluxe, but other versions should work as well.

There are a few minor differences using the newer versions of Quicken, so please contact us ahead of time for help with your setup if you would like to update your Quicken.

Also, be sure to make a backup of your Quicken data before you install a newer version. Quicken will update your data to a new format during the installation, and you cannot convert it back if you need to.

Quicken and QuickBooks are registered trademarks of Intuit Corporation.

Standard QuickTip:

Entering tax info

The Annual Tax field on the Financial screen does not "control" the monthly real estate tax escrow amount on the HUD-1 Page 2, and vice versa.

The Annual Tax field is used for Page 1 tax proration and title insurance schedules. The program will fill 1/12 of the figure into line 1004, but you can change line 1004 if the escrow is based on a future tax amount that is higher.

If you change line 1004, it will not change or update the Annual Tax field on the Financial screen.
